Second World: Buy Potion

Potions were one-time items you drank one for a temporary boost, thus earning them the nickname "consumables."

It was one of the game's "gold sinks," something deliberately intended to drain the player's currency by converting it into temporary gains. It was often viewed negatively as "paying to win," but in raids it became a choice between spending a bit extra or losing everyone's items.

"I already have a good stock of potions, I just need one for survivability. The yellow's better... but the red one doesn't cost a motherfucking fortune."
