Second World: Raiding

"Raiding: Bringing Down Monsters"
Player Guide (Part 1) by Soldier 76

Just stick to the top floors and you'll be safe, kid. But should you want to venture further down, you need to know what monsters await below the thirtieth floor.

The lobby sorts games by popularity and reward. And what's at the bottom is an ugly cesspool of predators that swim amongst the newborn babies and shit games. Every game wants to climb to the top, some try and be fun... others steal your stuff.

You'll see a big number on the game information. You'll think, I'm the hero that beats this quest and claims that all money. Then, you die. Horribly. Lava, quicksand, spike traps and every fucking trap they squeeze into that space. Running back for the items you dropped on death won't help, he closed the server and now they belong to him.

"The Cycle"
The only thing that stand between the top and the bottomless pit of shit are player organizations called "Guilds." The top elite players, the best of the best.

And once an abomination begins to surface, we group up and form a "Raid" to beat it a collective effort, claiming the reward and sending the monster back down the abyss. Only join a raid if you're ready to risk everything and take on the worst of the worst.

"Raiding's just another day in the office. Hm, but I'd better go shop for another potion before I meet up with the guys. Calypso's probably got something cheap."
